NEW CAMPERS: RHINOMAX OFF ROAD CAMPERS OUTBACK WARRIOR
RhinoMax Off Road Campers says it is offering a five grand discount to Camper Trailer Australia readers who place an order on one of its new units before December 17. Nice one!

New camper manufacturer RhinoMax is creating a stir at camping shows nationally, with the release of the Outback Warrior - an Aussie-made hardfloor camper trailer retailing for under $35,000.

Part owner and mechanical engineer Andy Dean has worked for Rolls-Royce and SKF Bearings and says his company is keen to produce a top-notch product that offers good value for money.

"Everything is designed on CAD Cam and manufactured on CNC machinery, so that everything is repeatable," says Andy.

"We made sure that the panels added strength to the trailer - so that the trailer is as strong and light as it can be. We use independent suspension, with 50mm stub axles and parallel bearings.

"My experiences have taught me the importance of bearings. It's an area that we cannot afford to scrimp on," he says.

RhinoMax manufactures its own tents out of Wax Converters canvas, using a machinist which the company says has many years' experience producing camper trailer tents.

"We also use a fibreglass panel for the floor, which makes it very light and easy to seal," says Andy.

According to Andy, the new trailers are already proving their mettle. One has crossed the Simpson and another two have returned from Cape York.

RhinoMax Off Road Campers is offering CTA readers who place an order before December 17 the opportunity to purchase the Outback Warrior for $29,950 - a saving of $5,000.
