New premium campsites for Lucky Bay

WA campers will soon be able to enjoy private showers, an onsite camp kitchen and personal veranda or deck at one of eight to 10 ‘premium’ campsites slated for Lucky Bay at Cape Le Grand National Park, WA.

Plans to establish the premium campsites follow the completion of the stage 1 development at Lucky Bay where 62 new campsites on two loops afforded improved views to the spectacular beach.

Funding for the stage 2 project was granted through the state’s Royalties for Regions program via the $198 million Goldfields Esperance Revitalisation Fund, with the total investment costing $3.9 million, including $950,000 from the Department of Parks and Wildlife.
