Camper trailer manufacturer Australian Off Road (AOR) has been recognised by Queensland state MP Mark McArdle for its business efforts in the local area at the Caloundra Community awards.

Rhonda and Steve Budden employ 80 workers at the 5500m2 facility in the Sunshine Coast.

AOR owners Steve and Rhonda Budden accepted the award Business Achiever of the Year on behalf of AOR for their efforts in producing top-quality camper trailers.

In a statement to the press, the Hon. McArdle observed how AOR had transformed from a one-man operation to an 80-strong workforce in a purpose built 5500m2 factory and showroom on the Sunshine Coast in just 16 years.

"We’ve been in business for many years, plugging away and sell all around Australia and are very thankful for this," Steve Budden said.

AOR also drew plaudits earlier this year when its Quantum Series IV was named by the CTA judging panel as the 2016 Camper Trailer of the Year in the highly coveted hybrid class.
