Queensland’s Emu Camper Trailers has launched three new Aussie-built campers and two new imports, all of which debuted at the Brisbane RV show in June.

Emu debuts five new models
The Aussie-made Emu Roader is designed for dirt roads and has a starting price of less than $8K.

The new locally-built campers are modelled on Emu’s popular SUV camper, which is designed for the growing number of SUV owners, and all have different attributes to suit different types of campers, from those who like staying in caravan parks to curious campers who prefer getting off the blacktop, into the bush or on to the beach.

The SUV Park Special will allow owners to explore areas suitable for their everyday road car and is designed for those who want to stay in caravan parks which have facilities available. It features a fully hot-dipped galvanised chassis and 40mm solid square axle suspension. The SUV Roader is a ‘semi-offroader’ made for any graded dirt road or beach driving. It comes with an upgraded GVM of 1000kg, a larger 350kg payload, larger 80L water tank and leaf springs rated to 1300kg.

The SUV Tourer Series is filled with extras to take you and your family even further, following an SUV anywhere it will go. Standard features include 45mm solid square axle suspension with 1500kg-rated springs and double action shock absorbers, twin 80L water tanks, all-terrain tyres, a front stoneguard and toolbox, upgraded 1300kg GVM with 600kg and much more.

Prices start at $7350 (Park Special), $7950 (Roader) and $8795 (Tourer Series).
