Sheep Shenanigans and Woolly Cup

Theodore Trail Ride

Cheer on more than 600 competitors as they thrash and crash their way across through dirt and dust to raise much needed funds for the Theodore community



Coonamble Rodeo and Campdraft

Jun 11-13

Spectators catch all the action as cowboys and cowgirls vie for a slice of $30,000 prize money in steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel racing, saddle bronc, bareback and bull rides.


Winter Magic Festival

Jun 24

Local musicians, dancers, drummers and choirs take to the stall-lined streets and perform before costume-dressed crowds celebrating the theme, ‘Our winter, our magic, our connection!’



Trails, Tastings and Tales Food and Wine Festival

Jun 10-12

Discover and enjoy regional wines, live music and rustic, warming food. There will be wine appreciation and educational sessions, Muscat blending workshops and art exhibitions.

Huon Valley locals showcase fruit and vegetables, eggs, pastries and conserves, olive oil and plants plus ceramic, wooden and textile crafts, including jewellery and alpaca products from the region.



Swap Meet and Show’N’Shine

This day of festivities features everything from car displays to trash and treasure. Come along early for breakfast and stay the whole day to make the most of the carnival atmosphere.


Queen’s Birthday Holiday Race Day
