Roving Camper Trailer Australia journalist John ‘Bear’ Willis was the first to inspect Tambo 4x4’s latest offroad camper trailer: The Rubicon.
According to John, the Rubicon effortlessly managed mullocks on the Goulburn proving tracks due in part to the Treg offroad hitch, Vanguard independent coil suspension with dual shocks and 12in electric brakes.
“The Rubicon simply walked over every obstacle with ease even when I deliberately increased the testing angle on mounds so steep, the towbar was hitting the ground,” says John.
Other highlights include the wrap-around stoneguard with detachable sides and the dual 100Ah AGM batteries fitted on slides — “nice touch Tambo!”
